Time: Normally 3rd Wednesday of the month. Please Note: As from the new year the excursions for Exploring Free London will no longer always be on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. When it is possible I will arrange them in the 5th week on a Tuesday, Thursday or Friday.
Place: Visits include museums and art galleries, public concerts, and any place of interest with open and usually free access.

Next outing: Natural History Museum
when: Thursday October 29th
We have a booked tour of the new Darwin Centre Cocoon. This is a newly built architecturally stunning extension to the museum, where we view 100s of rare specimens, learn from animated interactive displays and watch research scientists at work.
Maximum number 15 so please let me know if you would like to come.
We will meet at the main entrance at 11.30am and as the tour begins at 12.00pm.

Wednesday 19th November
where: British Library – Euston Road – we will meet in the foyer at 10.00am.
what: Guided tour of their current exhibition of 19th century portraits. This poses the question ‘who is behind the camera?’ and also traces the history of photography from its invention in 1839 until it became a popular pastime.
