Dear Maureen, at present we do not have a bridge group. Though I know that other U3A groups within the London area do.

U3A is a learning and activities co-op for the older people, though there is no lower age limit. I have passed your email on to the Group Leader who will be able to give you more information. We do have a yearly membership.
Have a look at our latest bi-monthly 'what's on'

Would it be possible to turn up for a walk and then join Hackney U3A subsequently?

Dear Sir/madam,

I'm a trainee clinical psychologist with the Uiniversity of East London. currently i'm carrying out research with people over the age 60 on memory. We are trying to develop a memory assessment procedure which would have great benefits for older people in terms of reducing burden of testing time, potentially stress of assessment. It is aimed at producing something straight forward and takes about 45-60 minutes with no side effects.

Would it be possible for me to talk to your members about this? If possible, i would like to attend a suitable meeting and talk about my research which would not take more than 10 minutes. You can call me on 07725474325 or email me at the above address.

kind regards,

Guney Dillioglu
